EXTRACTION SYSTEMS FOR MATERIALS
AEROSOLES & VAPORS
Aerosols, vapors and mists are generated, among other things, during the use of cooling lubricants in the mechanical processing of metals, such as machining, sawing, milling, drilling or lathing.
Oil mist and vapors consist of a very large number of aerosols and microparticles of water. Oil mist is generated when pure oil is used as a cooling lubricant on machine tools. Depending on the cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut, either only mist or a mixture of mist and fumes is produced. Oil mist also contains a not insignificant amount of gas, which cannot be removed by any air purifier, whether mechanical or electrostatic, unless activated carbon is used.
ASPUR extraction systems safely remove the harmful aerosols and vapors emitted by solvents and other substances, and filter the contaminated air using an activated carbon filter.
