New development for extraction systems in the pharmaceutical and chemical industry

The industry's requirements for containment are growing rapidly due to highly potent toxic agents, and with them the required OEB (=Occupational Exposure Band) protection level that extraction systems must achieve. ASPUR has set itself the goal of being able to implement the highest possible OEB level with its extraction systems, which is required above all in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries. With our new patent-pending Containment Transfer System, we achieve the highest level of protection, OEB level 6.

In order to better understand the OEB levels and the associated guide values, you will find below an overview of the 6 OEB levels with the maximum permissible loads. OEB 5 corresponds to an exposure of less than 1 µg/m³. If this were extrapolated to the size of the Empire State Building in New York, there should be no more than 1/20 of a teaspoon of the active substance in the entire building.

The newly developed containment extraction system of the aerotain assembly makes it possible to extract and dispose highly effective, health-hazardous microparticles and substances dust-free. The core and special feature of the assembly is the containment transfer system. Filter changes of the main and HEPA filters are completely dust-free.
